Hair Test

The hair test has become famous through its application to more or less well-known public figures - always in connection with cocaine.

In the hair or the nails drugs can be detected longest and also most reliably. It is almost like the annual rings of a tree. All drug use can be detected qualitatively and quantitatively in the hair.

Drug use can be traced back as far as the hair is old, easily up to one year - but anyone who thinks he is on the safe side with a bald head is not only aesthetically on a fine line: in addition to the hair test, nail tests are also carried out, but these are much rarer.

Drug use of any kind, not just cocaine, can thus be effectively detected within a relevant time window.

It is very interesting that people with dark hair are obviously disadvantaged. In dark hair the residual concentration of drug residues is higher.

In addition it can also play a role, which shampoo and which care products one uses, whether the hair is colored or bleached etc.. Also nutrition and possible pollutants from the environment have an effect.
